Eight months may seem like a long time before a bar and restaurant hosts its grand opening, but for manager Brian Curtin and the staff at Pure North Fork it was the perfect length of time.
“It was really by design,” Curtin said. “We’ve had those parties before where you never quite feel like you’re ready for the floodgates to open.”
The floodgates will certainly open up to your tastebuds next Thursday, June 30, when the restaurant celebrates with its ‘Summer Soiree’ from 5 to 9 p.m.
Perhaps best known for the more than 20 craft beers they have on tap, Thursday’s event will give Pure, which opened in October, the opportunity to show off a little bit of everything it offers.
For $30 the event features craft menu tastings, hors d’oeuvres, a raw bar, carving station, cheese and charcuterie, as well as live music performed by The Gallagher Brothers.
“It should be a great time,” Curtin said.
Reservations are required so call (631) 886-2777 to RSVP. Pure North Fork is located at 141 Fairway Drive on the grounds of Great Rock Golf Club in Wading River. For more information visit purenorthfork.com.
