It’s a Monday in summer which means the popular pig roasts are returning to First and South in Greenport tonight.
The 12-week-long recurring event kicks off tonight, June 20, with a pig from Wells Farm in Riverhead and beer from Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. Other local purveyors providing the ingredients for tonight’s roast include Diamond Jim Oysters, Sang Lee Farms, KK’s The Farm, Seps and Latham’s Farm.
The dinner, with seatings from 6 to 9 p.m., includes an a la carte raw bar with locals clams, peel and eat shrimp, and Diamond oysters.
