On the hunt for a berry fun time with the family?
Garden of Eve, Organic Farm & Market on Sound Avenue in Riverhead is hosting its first Strawberry Buffet Brunch this Sunday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The cost of the special prix-fixe menu is $25 for adults and $15 for children. It includes an all-you-can-eat brunch, hot and cold beverages, admission to the Kiddie Korral play area at the farm and admission to the u-Pick organic strawberry patch. The first half-pint of strawberries you pick is free for all who attend the breakfast.
As the name of the event suggests, the day is all about strawberry season, but the menu also includes farm eggs, homemade baked goods and more. (See the menu here.)
“This is a nice chance to have a fun meal out in a very relaxed setting,” said farmer Eve Kaplan-Walbrecht. “This is our first year running this event, but we have done similar things in the past like our Mother’s Day brunches.”
The farm is taking pre-reservations and walk-ins for the event.
