The Rotary Club of Riverhead will hold its 10th annual “Rotary Uncorked” benefit at Martha Clara Vineyards in Riverhead this Wednesday, May 25, from 6 to 9 p.m.

This year’s program will include food tastings from 30 restaurants and food purveyors, including: Cooperage Inn, Briermere Farms, Lobster Roll, Love Lane Kitchen, PeraBell Food Bar, Sonoma Grill and The Village Cheese Shop.

Some of the wineries and craft breweries serving includes: Clovis Point WinesMartha Clara Vineyards, Roanoke Vineyards, Greenport Harbor Brewery, Sparkling Pointe Winery and Woodside Orchards Hard Cider.

There will also be live music, a silent auction and raffle.

“Every year it gets more traction,” said Randy Morreale, the rotary’s event chairperson. “This year we have some nice sponsors.”

The annual event raises funds for local Riverhead charities. This year, proceeds will benefit homeless military veterans through General Needs, an East Northport organization that provides help to veterans and their families.

“We’ll be helping out local veterans in the area,” said Morreale. “They agreed to help local people, which was one of our stipulations.”
