Seventies teen heartthrob David Cassidy played to a wildly enthusiastic sold-out crowd of over 500 people at the Suffolk Theatre in Riverhead Friday night.

Many of the concertgoers brought along albums and magazines they had saved for decades; some brought roses and handmade posters.

Cassidy opened the show with the classic Partridge Family song “Come on Get Happy” and as the audience sang along, several fans screamed out his name.

The show featured over a dozen songs including “Albuquerque” and “I Think I Love You.”
