Peconic River Herb Farm Barn Sale

The Peconic River Herb Farm opens for the season on Friday April 1 with its annual tent and barn sale. The sale runs Friday, April 1, Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Come shop for everything garden-related, as well as vintage furniture, household items and tools.

Saturday April 2

NoFo Coastal Clean-up in Peconic & Southold 

Join the Group for the East End’s coastal cleanup series this Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m. to noon.

The cleanup will take place at three sites: Goldsmith’s Inlet, Kenny’s and McCabe’s beaches. Trash collected will be repurposed into sculptures of wildlife impacted by marine debris. Wear closed toe shoes and bring work gloves. Additional supplies and refreshments will be provided.

Zombie Wedding at The Suffolk Theater

Come see “Tony & Tina’s Wedding – The Zombie Wedding!” on Saturday, April 2 in Riverhead.

The Suffolk Theater is offering a “buy one, get one free” ticket deal for the event with the offer code “walkingwed.” Tickets are $45, student discount tickets are $35 (Student ID must be shown for entry). Doors, bar & restaurant open at 6:00. The show begins at 8 p.m.

Magdalena Baczewska in concert

Come hear Polish born pianist Magdalena Baczewska perform at the Jamesport Meeting House on Saturday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m.

Baczewska will perform works by Brahms, Chopin and Peter Susser. A reception with the artist will follow. Tickets are $20 in advance; $25 at the door, students are free.

Sunday April 3

Oysterponds Lecture Series: Highlights of the Collection (Part 2)

The Oysterponds Historical Society is sponsoring a 3-part series about its preservation efforts and collections.

Museum curator Bill McNaught will discuss some of the organization’s most intriguing treasures on Sunday, April 3 at 3 p.m. at the Peconic Landing Community Center.
