The spring 2016 edition of the northforker Long Island Wine Press hit newsstands this week.

The latest issue features a look at Long Island chardonnay, which our resident wine writer Lenn Thompson, who is admittedly not the biggest fan of the variety, decides to reexamine with an open mind and an open palette.

Other features in the winter edition include an interview with and recipe from American Beech chef Arielle Ferrara; a profile on winemaker Christopher Tracy of Channing Daughters Winery; the story behind Anthony Nappa Wines Bordo; an interview with Gibson Campbell, the wholesale manager at Macari Vineyards; and a letter from the new Long Island Wine Council president Roman Roth.

Also included in the magazine is a map of Long Island Wine Country, a list of local wineries, breweries and distilleries and an events copy.

Pick up a copy today, available at wineries, restaurants, newsstands and other businesses around the region.  Follow northforker this week as we post many of these stories to our site.
