East End foodies can ensure themselves a free entrée at 33 popular restaurants by simply donating to a worthy cause — East End Hospice.
With the purchase of a $100 coupon book, “Dining on the East End,” diners will receive coupons for a buy one, get one free entrée at 33 different locations, good from April 1, 2016 through March 31, 2017. Coupons are not valid on weekends, holidays or holiday weekends at most locations.
The agency provides home hospice care and with short-term hospital stay for patients when needed. Using a $2 million gift from the John and Elaine Kanas Family Foundation, the organization earlier this year opened a 24-hour care facility in Quiogue for end-of-life patients who cannot be cared for at home.
It is the 17th year the fundraising special has been offered.
