Northforker.com is searching for a creative, upbeat, passionate intern to join the team our team this summer.
The ideal candidate is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in English literature or journalism and has strong writing skills, a willingness to learn, a tireless work ethic and an interest in food and wine.
This is an 8-week internship, which is paid through a scholarship from the New York Press Association. Candidates would be expected to work 30 hours per week during the summer break.
Job responsibilities include pitching daily stories about the North Fork region’s food, wine and real estate scenes, covering weekend events, researching and writing posts for northforker.com, taking photographs to accompany those stories and cultivating sources within the communities we serve.
