Hampton Coffee Co. unveiled a fourth store on Sunday morning with a ribbon cutting ceremony at its new Aquebogue location.
It is the first North Fork storefront for the company, which operates in Southampton, Water Mill and Westhampton Beach.
In addition to coffee, expect breakfast sandwiches, soup, paninis, oatmeal, muffins, croissants, scones and more — all which are made fresh at the store, often with local ingredients — along with “true Italian-style espresso drinks” and teas. Gluten-free, low carb and vegetarian options are available. The store also boasts a ‘bean bar’ with barrels full of different flavor coffee beans that customers can mix and match to create their own roast.
Special to the NoFo locale is the “Organic North Fork Blend,” which is available by the cup and by the pound.

All coffee sold at the store is roasted locally at the company’s gas fire roaster in Southampton.
Originally a mechanic shop and gas station in the 1940s, the former Go Solar building has maintained much of its original feel, including the ramp that led from the checkout counter to the garage floor, which CEO Jason Belkin has incorporated into the layout of the store.
Vintage photos of the building as a garage decorate one of the interior walls of the café.
“It’s so important to repurpose old buildings when possible,” said Riverhead Town Councilwoman Jodi Giglio who attended Sunday’s ceremony. “We’re just thrilled they’re here. I actually buy their coffee and brew it at home.”
The store held a soft opening on Saturday for family and friends in which coffee was given away, though a donation to the Westhampton Beach-based non-profit youth development organization Human Understanding and Growth Seminar, Inc. was suggested.
Hampton Coffee Co. raised $1,300 for HUGS that day, according to Belkin.
Hampton Coffee Co. is located at 272 Main Road in Aquebogue. Reach them at (631) 779-2862. The store will be open from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m., seven days a week.
