Go back to the turn of the 20th century and the golden age of overnighting on Shelter Island with The Chequit. Escape for Valentine’s Day weekend with rates for a standard king room starting at $195 per night.

Their spacious guestrooms feature luxury bedding, restored hardwood floors and a private en-suite bathroom. The Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast was recently refurbished as three elegantly appointed rooms with antique furniture. Take a deep breath and relax with your loved one this Valentine’s Day weekend. Upon check in, you’ll receive a very special box of Valentine’s chocolates from North Fork Chocolate Company (valid with a two-night minimum stay from Feb. 21.)
