Suffolk County’s only medical marijuana dispensary is slated to open Friday morning in Riverhead.
As of Jan. 26, 292 physicians across the state had registered for the medical marijuana program and 409 patients had been certified to receive it.
Friday’s opening will come after a media walkthrough of the new facility, located at 1333 E. Main Street, from 8 to 10 a.m. and a ribbon cutting scheduled for 11 a.m.
The facility will open to patients once the ribbon is cut.
