It’s only Tuesday, but our mouths are already watering at the thought of the second annual Picklefest at Little Creek Oyster Farm & Market on Saturday.

Artisanal pickle company Backyard Brine and Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. will be on hand serving up pickles and beer.

Little Creek, Long Island’s first U-shuck joint, will also be serving up raw oysters with what the folks at the market (A.K.A. North Fork Oysters) describe as “serious vinegar” and mignonette sauces.

Tickets, which can be purchased at TasteGreenport.com, are $25 each and include a flight of craft beers carefully paired with a selection of Backyard Brine pickles, and other treats. Picklemasters Randy and Cori Kopke of Backyard Brine will also be hand to talk about their process. Expect some signature mignonette sauces to pair with oysters as well.

Tickets will also be available at the door.

The event runs from 12 to 4 p.m., Dec. 19 at the Little Creek Market located at 37 Front Street in Greenport (turn down Bootleg Alley).

Be sure to check out our events calendar for other North Fork events scheduled for this weekend.
