Driving by the newest Hampton Coffee Company location on Main Road in Aquebogue, one might assume the doors are about to open any second. But according to CEO Jason Belkin, that isn’t the case quite yet. However, he said, the store will be serving lattes and fresh small-batch coffee within the next few weeks.
“We should be opening just after New Year’s,” Belkin said in an email. “We still have some finishing touches to do on the new place before we open.”
Renovations on the new building, which was formally Go Solar, began in late September. The company first eyed Aquebogue as a location in July 2014.
This location will be the fourth for the company, which has three stores on the South Fork as well as a Mobile Espresso Unit. The first store was opened in Water Mill in 1994, and all locations roast their own coffee and makes their own baked goods.
The café is also looking for year-round baristas. To apply, email HamptonCoffee@aol.com.
