Christmas isn’t here yet, but it’s time to plan our partying for New Year’s Eve.
There are plenty of North Fork venues hosting bashes and offering specials. Here is a list of some of the best to ring in 2016. Check back as the big day approaches and we’ll add more events as they are announced. (Venues, email your event info to [email protected].)
Suffolk Theater

The Suffok Theater is hosting a night of dinner, dancing and laughing.
The event will feature comedians, dancing with DJ Phil after the show, and complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Performers include: impressionist Eric Haft, comedian Rich Walker and comedienne Carie Karavas.
Tickets are $45. A price fixe dinner will also be available for purchase. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.
The All Star

The All Star bowling alley will feature party deals to get 2016 rolling. The family party deal runs from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. For $25 per child and $40 per adult and a minimum of six people to a lane customers will get unlimited bowling, shoes, food, party favors and sparkling cider to toast.
The lane party deal runs from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.. For $50 per person customers get unlimited bowling, shoes, food, party favors and a champagne toast.

Long Island Aquarium and Exhibition Center

The Long Island Aquarium will host its annual family-friendly “Fishes and Wishes” celebration.
Guests can enjoy a cocktail hour, buffet dinner (includes beer and wine), dancing, crafts for the kids, dessert and ice cream bar, plus a mock-midnight champagne and sparkling cider toast at 10:30 p.m. It’s all set against the backdrop of the aquarium at night.
Guests also have the option of spending the night at the adjacent Hyatt Place Long Island/East End. Packages start at $199 (plus tax).
Children ages 3 to 12 are $60 (members are $55) and adults are $95 (members are $85). Children 2 and under are free.

East Wind Caterers

Welcome 2016 in at East Wind’s Grand Ballroom. The party is expected to be five hours of food, music, dancing and drinking. For $115 per person, guests will enjoy an open bar and live entertainment, and also dine buffet style at the venue’s Tuscan pizzetta station, Italian carving station and international dessert station. And when the night is over, you can take advantage of the EastWind’s luxury accommodations just an elevator ride away from the party. An overnight stay for two is $595, which includes admission to the party and breakfast the following morning. The Harborfront Inn at Greenport

The Harborfront will offer a holiday package to ring in the New Year for $209 per night for a superior room and $219 per night for a deluxe room. The package is available for check in on Wednesday, Dec. 30 and check out on Friday, Jan. 1, and includes accommodations for two nights, accesses to the New Year’s Eve cocktail party hosted by the hotel manager in the lobby, including appetizers and champagne and complimentary continental breakfast. If you want to get into town a day earlier, you can add Saturday, Jan. 2 for $169 for a superior and $189 for a deluxe.

Deep Water Bar and Grille

Deep Water will offer dinner specials between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. ($16 for children and $28 for adults). The children’s menu includes a kid’s meal with a drink. The adult meal includes a choice of soup or salad, one of three entrees and a glass of champagne.
The restaurant will host a mock countdown every hour. Hats, party goods and a glass of a special party drink are included to toast the new year.

The Birchwood of Polish Town

Watch the ball drop in The Birchwood’s catering hall.
The menu will include passed hors d’oeuvres, jumbo shrimp cocktail, various cheeses, caesar salad, a sit-down dinner with several choice, dessert station and a chocolate fountain. There will be a champagne toast at midnight, party hats, noisemakers and a DJ.
The party runs from 8 p.m. until 1 a.m. Tickets are $79.99 per person.
