Grab your Courvoisier and feel all right — this Valentines Day weekend Tim “The Ladies Man” Meadows is coming to town, the Suffolk Theater announced on Tuesday.

Meadows, perhaps best known for his 10-year stint as a cast member on Saturday Night Live, is the latest in a string of higher profile acts The Suffolk Theater has drawn to Riverhead.

The historic art deco theater most recently hosted Funkmaster Flex and Lil’ Kim in November and singer/songwriter Ani Difranco in May.

Meadows will perform at The Suffolk Theater on Saturday, February 13 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $49. The doors, bar and restaurant will open at 6:30 p.m.

The dance floor will be open following the event.

Meadows created popular characters during his SNL tenure including “The Ladies Man” Leon Phelps and Lionel Osbourne, who hosted the fictional public affairs show, Perspectives. Meadows has also appeared in several films including the comedies Mean Girls and Grown Ups.

With a long career in stand-up and improvisational comedy, Meadows got his start as a member of Chicago’s  Second City comedy troupe, alongside another future SNL performer, Chris Farley. Both made the move to SNL in 1991. Originally hired as an SNL writer, Meadows was nominated for a comedy writing Emmy for the show before making the transition to cast member two years later.

The Suffolk Theater is located at 118 East Main Street in Riverhead. For tickets and information call (631) 727-4343 or visit suffolktheater.com.
