Everybody loves wine tasting on the North Fork — including “Entourage” star Kevin Connolly, who stopped by Sparkling Pointe Winery this past Friday afternoon.

The 41-year old TV and film star, who originally hails from Patchogue, was in town for a wedding and decided to visit the Southold tasting room with his own entourage of about 10 friends.

Connolly was spotted in spite of, or maybe because of, the blue New York Islanders cap he was wearing. A huge hockey fan, he directed and narrated an ESPN “30 for 30” documentary about the team.

While at the winery, Connolly and his friends sampled Sparkling Pointe’s Topaz Imperial reserve, which is a combination of chardonnay and pinot noir. Sparkling Pointe is dedicated to the exclusive production of Méthode Champenoise sparkling wines.

When they were ready to go, Connolly happily posed for pictures with Sparkling Pointe’s marketing coordinator, Kelsey Cheslock, and head winemaker, Gilles Martin.

Sparkling Pointe Winery is located at 39750 County Road 48 in Southold.
