They came, they ate, they drank barrels and barrels worth of Long Island wine.
More than 1,700 people partied at McCall Wines in Cutchogue for the annual food and wine smorgasbord Dan’s Harvest East End.
Vintners from dozens of Long Island wineries poured their wines and 30 local chefs were on hand serving up tastes of their cuisine.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit HRH Care, the Long Island Farm Bureau and Peconic Land Trust. The event is hosted by Dan’s Papers along with the Long Island Wine Council.
