Tourism is growing across Suffolk County, fueled in large part by the East End as a popular destination, according to a recent report.

So it was no surprise when the Food Network recently highlighted the North Fork in one of its restaurant guides.

“While New Yorkers and other travelers often head to popular Hamptons destinations on the South Fork of Long Island,” the post begins, “oenophiles and those in the know head north at the end of Highway 495…”

The post outlines places to stay, to eat dinner, lunch or brunch, and a variety of wineries to meet everyone’s desire.
