Break out the bibs and the melted butter — the Rotary Clubs of Southold and Greenport’s annual Lobsterfest, one of the North Fork’s most beloved summertime events, is back on July 25.
This is the clubs’ 24th year hosting the feast, which draws hundreds of people to Founders Landing. In 2013, the crowd consumed more 900 lobsters, 300 steaks, corn and potatoes donated by local farmers, we reported..

Guests have their choice of lobster or steak. Tickets also include mussels, corn, cole slaw, potato and watermelon. Hot dogs and burgers, corn, watermelon and lemonade will be available for kids.
There will also be a cash bar for wine, beer and soft drinks.
Lobsterfest is Saturday, July 25. Food will be served from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Wharf House at Founders Landing, located at the end of Hobart Road in Southold. Enjoy continuous live music until 9:30 p.m.
Tickets are $40 in advance for adults or $50 at the door. Kids 12 and under are $7.
