Are you at the office, clacking away at your keyboard in between scrolls through your news feed and missing your North Fork weekend?
Here are some scenes to take you back to our pebbly shores and breezy weather. These shots were snapped at South Jamesport Beach under clear skies on Tuesday.
But not everyone there was soaking up the sun. We found Bob Leace of Sound Beach wrapped in towels, hiding under a shade and reading the news on his phone.
“They’re making fun of me because I’m all covered up,” said Leace, gesturing toward his wife Lauren and mother-in-law Caroline Werle of Wading River. “But I burn really easily.”
Other than Leace, we saw dozens of people enjoying the water which approached bath tub temps as temps hit the 90-degree mark in some areas.
If you want to go: a day parking pass to South Jamesport Beach is $35 for those who don’t have a Riverhead Town parking pass. The beach is located on Peconic Bay Boulevard in South Jamesport.
Enjoy the scenes.
