North Fork Table & Inn will fete its landmark 10th season on May 25 — and the highly acclaimed Southold restaurant is confident this year will be one for the books.
“We’re excited to make it the best summer yet,” co-owner Mary Mraz told northforker Thursday. “We’re happy, especially after such an abominable winter.”
So are we — particularly because the North Fork Table & Inn’s owners, executive chef Gerry Hayden and his wife, pastry chef Claudia Fleming, have some new tricks up their sleeves for 2015.

First up are some new offerings at the North Fork Food Truck, which is stationed at the restaurant. Call ahead (631-765-0177) for its hours of operation, Mraz said, or click here. Smoked salmon and cured meats from North Fork Table & Inn Provisions, as well as Fleming’s delectable creations (lest you forget, Elle magazine dubbed her a pastry goddess) will now be available on a regular basis from the mini-restaurant on wheels.
In addition, the food truck can now be booked for off-site evening catering, Mraz said. Boxed lunches are available for groups of 8 or more.
That’s not all: When the restaurant’s Friday farmers’ market opens June 12, it will have expanded hours. Stop by Fridays this summer from 9 a.m. to noon to pick up some of the North Fork’s best produce, meats, seafood, cheeses and more. Participating vendors include (but certainly aren’t limited to) Browder’s Birds, East End Mushroom Company, Catapano Dairy Farm, The Giving Room, and, of course, North Fork Table & Inn Provisions.
“We’re excited,” Mraz said. “There are still people who haven’t been here and are hearing about us. I think people are really going to be coming out here this summer.”
