If you’re a connoisseur of vintage cars from across the pond, Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty has the event for you: The North Fork Vintage Sports and Touring Car Rally will be held Sunday, May 31.
Freddy Markham, a Daniel Gale Sotheby’s real estate agent organizing the event, said 25 European sports cars and touring automobiles, each built before 1990, will participate in the festivities, which kick off at 10:30 a.m. on Route 25 in Riverhead.
The cars will travel east along Peconic Bay Boulevard, Oregon Road and Route 48, eventually making their way to Orient, Markam said. From there, they’ll head to Pugliese Vineyards on Main Road in Cutchogue, where guests are invited to check out the cars, socialize with drivers and enjoy refreshments. Greenport Tex-Mex eatery Lucharito’s will also be on site for lunch, Markam said.
