If you see Roman Roth in Manhattan, you better whip out your iPhone.

Last year the Long Island Wine Council rolled out a promotional campaign featuring posters of local winemakers like Roth, who is winemaker and partner at Wölffer Estate Vineyard, displayed at subway and bus stops throughout the city. At the time the wine council also released short videos featuring winemakers like Juan Micieli-Martinez of Martha Clara Vineyards and Kelly Urbanik Koch of Macari Vineyards talking about life as a vintner.

Now the organization is running a promotion offering complimentary wine tastings to anyone who snaps a selfie in front of their ads.

“Are you in NYC or do you commute? If you see one of our Winemaker Posters in one of the various MTA locations in New York, snap a selfie. Post it here (with location) and we’ll send you a gift packet of wine tastings. Keep your eyes out and your Smartphones ready,” the wine council states on its Facebook page.

Participants must snap a pic then post the photo to the wine council’s Facebook page along with the location where it was taken to be eligible. Anyone who posts a photo to their page is an automatic winner and will receive tasting coupons for at least three different wineries, according to a wine council spokesperson.

Additionally, Waters Crest Winery is offering a free tasting to anyone who comes to their Cutchogue tasting room with a picture of one the posters on their phone.

The promotion ends March 31.
