What better way to learn about the wine you are drinking than spending the afternoon with the man who made it?

And at Sannino Bell Vita Vineyard in Peconic this Saturday, you can do just that.

During the winery’s popular Vine to Wine tour you’ll be guided through the winemaking process. Winemaker Anthony Sannino will guide you during a behind-the-scenes stroll through the vineyard and winery (ranked third on TripAdvisor’s list of America’s Top 10 Winery Tours).

“I like bringing regional awareness to people,” Sannino said. “I like people to know we exist and showing people what we do, from growing it to making it. And also that we’re making world class wines.”

And if you can make it this Saturday, not to worry. The vineyard is offering the tour each Saturday through March 28.

Tours begin at 1 p.m. at the Peconic tasting room located at 1375 Peconic Lane.

It is $25 per person. And reservations are required. Call 631-734-8282 to book your spot.
