Potato farmer John Kujawski and his wife Susan have lived in their home on Manor Lane in Jamesport, the site of the East End’s largest vegetable farm, for the last 35 years. There they have about 10 acres of paddocks where their four American Quarter Horses and two Clydesdales exercise and eat.

The paddocks are adjacent to the 500-acre John Kujawski & Sons Farm where John, along with his brother Ray and son Chris, grow about 300 acres of potatoes.

The Kujawskis used to breed horses, but now they say they just ride them once in a while when they have time.
