For those of you who miss your Italian nonna’s cooking, Diliberto Winery can help you recreate the feeling of a belly full of grandma’s macaroni and sauce this winter

The winery is hosting its annual “Sundays with Grandma” series, featuring pasta demonstrations, Italian music performances, the vineyard’s award-winning wines and Sunday supper over the next three months.

Each week’s dinner will include cheese platters, homemade mozzarella and tomato, homemade dessert and a pasta demonstration. Pastas include, but aren’t limited to, stuffed ravioli, tagliatelle and gnocchi.

Each course also comes with a glass of Diliberto wine, such as its 2013 Sauvignon Blanc 2013, a 2013 Cantina and a warm, mulled wine with dessert. Additional glasses of wine can be purchased for $5.

Admission to Sundays with Grandma is $49 a person plus tax and gratuity. The dates are Jan. 18 and 25, Feb. 1, 8, 15 and 22 and March 1, 8, 15 and 22.

During the event, customers can rent the luxury apartment above the tasting room for a reduced price of $399. Regularly a $600 offer, two people can rent the apartment for two nights, Friday and Saturday, for the discount rate which includes two tickets to that week’s Sunday with Grandma.

For reservations call (631) 722-3416. The winery is located at 250 Manor Lane in Jamesport.
