North Fork chefs will be busy in the kitchen this winter, offering up a number of ways to quiet the rumbling bellies of local foodies.

Chef Noah Schwartz of Noah’s in Greenport will host a “taste of the North Fork” dinner at the James Beard House in New York City on Feb. 5.

The mouth-watering menu items include seared Peconic Bay scallops with pumpkin purée and sage brown butter as well as Wickham’s pear cider-poached pear panna cotta with Shinn Estate pear cider syrup.

The meal, which will be served with Bedell Cellars wines, starts at 7 p.m.

— Starting Jan. 22, Caci in Southold will offer a three course $39 prix-fixe winter menu every Thursday night. A sample menu includes a platter of sausage, lamb, New York strip steak and chicken all cooked by chef Marco Pellegrini on the restaurant’s wood grill. On Sunday’s the eatery will offer a $34 pasta prix-fixe which includes choice of soup or salad and the choice of taglierini with clams or homemade potato gnocchi with pork ragu. A third course includes choice of gelato.

— aMano in Mattituck is offering a prix-fixe deal to coincide with Winterfest, which runs weekends from Feb. 21 to March 29. The three-course meal, which includes a glass of wine, is just $45 per person. — The Market in Greenport will also host a “supper club” dinner on Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m.

It will be a three course meal prepared by chef Jessica Kalish. The menu is as follows: First course is kale with quinoa, almonds and Parmesan; the second course is braised short ribs with a creamy cauliflower polenta; and finally for dessert, a classic creme brûlée.

Sparkling Pointe in Southold will host its Tête de Cuvée grand tasting event from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24. Sample prestigious sparkling wines and champagnes during this two hour event. There are a limited number of tickets available. Call (631) 765-0200 for more info.

— Bistro 72 is hosting a “Meet the Masters” series with a local wine-, beer and spirit maker. A three-course dinner will be paired with the Master’s product. The cost is $45 per person, plus gratuity and tax. Feb. 11 will feature Adam Suprenant of Coffee Pot Cellars, Feb. 18 will feature Rich Stabile of Long Island Spirits and Feb. 25 will feature Duff Griffiths of Crooked ladder Brewing Co.
