It’s only Wednesday, but our mouths are already watering at the thought of Picklefest at Little Creek Oyster Farm & Market on Saturday.

Artisinal pickle company Backyard Brine and Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. will be on hand serving up pickles and beer.

Little Creek, Long Island’s first U-shuck joint, will also be serving up raw oysters with what the folks at Little Creek (A.K.A. North Fork Oysters) describe as “serious vinegar” and mignonette sauces.

Tickets are $25 each ($20 for the early bird special) and can be purchased at TasteGreenport.com. Tickets will also be available at the door.

The event runs from 2 to 4 p.m., Dec. 20 at Little Creek Market located at 37 Front Street in Greenport (turn down Bootleg Alley).

Be sure to check out our events calendar for a slew of North Fork events scheduled for this weekend. We are really looking forward to the return of record-holding ice sculptor Rich Daly at Sherwood House Vineyards in Jamesport, among others.
