Join acclaimed documentarian Richard Sherman for evening of eating and discussing Israeli cuisine at Jedediah Hawkins Inn on Dec. 14.
Sherman, whose films have been honored with an Emmy Award and a Peabody Award and who founded Florentine Films with fellow filmmaker Ken Burns in 1976, will show clips from his new documentary “The Search For Israeli Cuisine.” The PBS film explores Israeli culture through the lens of food.
Dinner will be overseen by Israeli-American chef Michael Solomonov, owner of Zahav restaurant in Philadelphia, who appears in Sherman’s film.
