One of the greatest features of this week’s Taste North Fork activities is the free shuttle that will bus you around from destination to destination from Orient through Riverhead. But there is also a lot to discover by foot this Saturday as well.
For this edition of northforker.com’s “Weekend Pick,” we suggest hitting the pavement for Greenport’s “Greenporch,” a walking tour and scavenger hunt that will have you exploring the village’s B&Bs and businesses.
The self-guided Greenporch tour brings you through local B&Bs, restaurants and other businesses for mystery clues, snacks, beverages, surprises and raffles. Participating Greenport businesses include Ruby’s Cove, The Morning Glory B&B, Made in New York, First and South Restaurant, The Stirling House B&B, Bartlett House Inn and more.
The Greenporch walking tour and scavenger hunt will take place on Saturday, Nov. 9 and Sunday, Nov. 10 between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
