What’s better than battling it out for deals at big box stores this Black Friday? Truthfully, probably anything else.
But most certainly a better alterative is Long Ireland Beer Company’s Black Friday Imperial Stouts release party.
An annual tradition at the Riverhead brewery since 2011, Long Ireland wants you to pass on the overly commercialized shopping holiday and instead enjoy their special release beer with friends and family.
As if that weren’t enticing enough, the beer-infused waffles topped with ice cream and candied bacon could easily persuade anyone from visiting the mall.
The first keg of 2014 Black Friday Imperial Stout will be tapped at 9 a.m. at Long Ireland located at 817 Pulaski Street in Riverhead.
Starting at 10 a.m. slim kegs of 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Black Friday Imperial Stouts will also be tapped. Tickets are $20 and include a souvenir snifter glass served with a 4 oz. pour of each year’s stour.
