Even super models love Long Island wine.
Christie Brinkley visited Wölffer Estate Vineyards in Sagaponack on Sunday, according to photos posted on her Instagram account.
Tastings ranged from a 20-year-old bottle of merlot to a current vintage, the Uptown Girl reported.
“She signed a barrel for our ‘Barrel Hall of Fame’ and toured the cellar with winemaker Roman Roth, who opened a bottle of 20-year-old Estate Merlot, made the year Christie’s son, Jack, was born, for the occasion,” the vineyard wrote on its Facebook page. “‘The wine and the visit were fantastic!’ Roman reports.”
Brinkley gave a nod to her Grammy-winning ex-husband in a caption for a photo of a glass of white wine.
“Bottle of Red, Bottle of White” she declared, referencing Billy Joel’s iconic hit “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant.”
The South Fork socialite might have erroneously called the German-born winemaker “Roland Roth” in one post, but she gushed about his talents and posed for a photo with him and his family.
“I can’t believe the amount of knowledge, elbow grease, and [LOVE] that goes into every bottle at #Wolferestatevineyards,” Brinkley wrote.
Brinkley is hardly the first celebrity to be spotted wine tasting in the Hamptons.
Actress Jennifer Lawrence and Coldplay singer Chris Martin were spotted watching the sun set over the vines at Wölffer in August, according to E! online.
