Jimmy Fallon acted every bit as friendly and fun-loving as his on-screen persona, posing for photos with fans and belting out tunes in the back of his Cadillac Escalade during his North Fork visit on Tuesday evening.

Graeme Baker of Orient Point spotted the funny man at the end of the bar at Whiskey Wind in Greenport about 10 p.m. on Tuesday and said Fallon was relaxed, friendly and approachable.

“He was having a blast,” said Baker, who posted a photo of himself, Fallon and Baker’s girlfriend Leslie Colon to Instagram. “He was dancing, joking with his friends. You tend to think that someone in the industry wouldn’t necessarily act the same in person, but he did.”

“He was doing the same kind of dance moves as he does on the show.”

Baker and Colon stopped off at the Front Street watering hole after Colon ended her shift working as a server nearby. Baker wasn’t wearing contacts at the time and said he couldn’t believe at first the comedian had walked into the bar.

“We saw this group of three guys. My girlfriend looks over and says ‘I think that’s Jimmy Fallon over there,’” he said. “He walked in and just plopped right down at the end of the bar.”

The bar posted on its Facebook page around 10 p.m. that “The Tonight Show” host had made an appearance and was soon flooded with fans clamoring for an Instagram souvenir.

“He didn’t mind taking photos with anyone else,” Baker said. “He was kinda loving it. Once it got busy, he was trying to get out of there.”

A highlight for Colon and Baker was seeing Fallon sitting in the back of a black Cadillac Escalade parked near the North Ferry terminal singing along to the radio. Baker could not recall the song.

“We just saw Jimmy in the back seat, singing his head off,” he said.

The actor owns a home in Sagaponack.
