Break out the mustache wax and wide-brimmed straw hats, it’s time for an old-timey car show in Cutchogue.

The Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council will host its annual car show and family fun day Sunday, Oct. 19. This year’s theme is “back in time until 1959” and will feature cars from that era and earlier, antique train rides for children, tours of the historical society’s furnished 17th century home, old-fashioned big wheeled bicycles and more.

Period dress is encouraged, though not required.

The event will take place on the Village Green in Cutchogue from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Admission is $6 (or $4 for those dressed in attire from 1959 and earlier) and children under 12 are free. Show cars are $15. All proceeds help the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council to maintain the Village Green.
