Octoberfest is coming to Riverhead. No, not the popular Germany holiday, but Long Ireland Beer Company’s special brew in honor of the celebration.
This Saturday the Polish Town brewery is having its Octoberfest beer release party. For $20 you’ll get a souvenir 1-liter mug filled with beer and a movie. Keeping with the theme, the film BeerFest will be shown on a 25-foot outdoor movie screen. In case of rain, the movie will be shown inside the brewery.
There will be Oktoberfest-inspired fare too. Pretzels, Brats and German eats will be available for purchase.
