Zagat, the international food and dining source, took a trip out east recently and filmed a segment for its ‘Off the Grid’ YouTube channel.
Filming at McCall Wines in Cutchogue and Wolffer Estate Vineyards in Sagaponack, the video takes a look at just a small slice of the East End wine scene.
Kelly Dobkin, an editor with Zagat, speaks with Russell McCall about how McCall got to where it stands today.
“As [our pinot noir grapes] matured, I noticed that people were trying to get the fruit, which told me that something good must be going on,” he says.
