Few things are more relaxing than the scent of a lavender farm in bloom.

The 2014 lavender bloom at Lavender by the Bay in East Marion is coming to end, but there is time to see — and smell it — before the crop is cut.

While the majority of the farm’s French lavender was harvested weeks ago, there are still about 15 rows of English lavender in bloom. The purple plant will be gone in about a week.

Visit Lavender By The Bay at 7540 Route 25 in East Marion.
