Seasonal local brews and warm spiced cider. An abundance of food, including a harvest-inspired clam chowder. Live music. Pony rides and pumpkin-painting for the kids.

There is little the family-friendly Cooperage Inn Fall Festival, now in its 16th year at the Sound Avenue restaurant in Baiting Hollow, doesn’t offer.

“It really is a lot of fun, especially when the weather is nice and crisp,” Cooperage Inn general manager Kevin Carson said. “You get the feel of the North Fork.”

Join the fun on the inn’s lawn every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m., weather-permitting, until Sunday, Oct. 26. The festival also takes place on school holidays through the end of October, Carson said.

A large variety of food, including hot dogs, hamburgers, kielbasa, pot pies, barbecue chicken and ribs, potato pancakes and a clam chowder made with harvest vegetables is available, Carson said. Drinks include seasonal brews including Long Ireland Pumpkin Ale and warm spiced cider infused with Captain Morgan. Desserts, including candied apples and pumpkin bread, are also available.
