Saying goodbye to summer isn’t so bad when you are celebrating the start of fall at the 34th annual Hallockville Museum Farm Fall Festival & Craft Show.
A North Fork tradition, this weekend’s two-day fair will have any beach lover reveling in pumpkins, falling leafs and warm apple cider.

The Fall Festival will keep you busy with 50 artisan folk art and craft vendors and demonstrations such as decoy carving, wood carving, basket weaving, rug hooking, quilting and blacksmithing.
Plus, there is also the always-popular tractor pull and show from Long Island Antique Power Association, hayrides, live music, children’s activities, games and historic house and barn tours.
No festival is complete without food and there will be eats from Maple Tree BBQ, Island Empanada, and fair favorites like ice cream and kettle corn. Wash it down with brews from Greenport Harbor Brewing Company.
Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 5 to 12 and kids 4 under are free. All proceeds support the not-for-profit educational mission of Hallockville Museum Farm.
The fun runs Saturday, Sept. 13 and Sunday, September 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hallockville Museum Farm, located at 6038 Sound Avenue, Riverhead.
