Fig & Olive Bed & Breakfast (Cyndi Murray photos)

Chic and modern meets rustic colonial at Fig  & Olive Bed & Breakfast.

Now celebrating its first full year in business, the Cutchogue inn is already gaining a sparkling reputation among guests — many of whom have stayed more than once.

For example one review read that is offered “an impeccable experience.”

Perhaps that is because innkeepers Lisa and George Haase love sharing the inn and area as much as people enjoy staying there.

“If we can give these people a great experience it will get more people out to the North Fork and that is good for everyone,” Haase said.

Built in 2001, Fig & Olive B&B is an American Colonial Revival that was renovated and restored in 2012 into the three-bedroom inn.

Each room features a private bathroom and is beautifully designed with the help of local décor store The 1670 Furniture House to provide guests with a luxurious and peaceful getaway.

All are equipped with queen size beds, luxury linens, Wi-Fi, central air conditioning, hairdryer and the inn’s own private label organic soaps.

Bring you appetite for Fig & Olive’s three-course breakfast.

“I love cooking,” Ms. Haase said.

Served at 9 a.m., the menu may include items such as baked blueberry French toast with warm maple glaze, buttermilk asparagus quiche with bacon, raspberry dark chocolate muffins and Fig & Olive’s homemade granola, served with honey yogurt.

Ms. Hasse’s 5 spicy bacon pops are also a hit among guests.

The inn accommodates gluten-free, grain-free and Paleo diets.

Tucked away on almost three acres of land, the inn boasts fantastic indoor and outdoor spaces.

The inviting living room is a great place to kick back and enjoy their extensive library while the front porch provides the opportunity to sit back and enjoy your morning cup of coffee and read the paper while overlooking private rows of grapes.

At night settle back in an Adirondack chair and enjoy the evening sipping wine at one of the inn’s two outdoor fire pits.

There will also be plenty of room for adventure. The B&B’s Cutchogue location is within walking distance of several wineries, shopping and the beach.
