Located just a few feet from Main Road in Cutchogue is the lovely, enchanting “Idea Garden” at Trimble’s of Corchaug nursery.
Planted with all perennial flowers, the repurposed items like street signs, bicycles and a bath tub give this garden a whimsical feel.
Owner Nancy Leskody, who along with her partner Anne Trimble created the garden nearly 20 years ago in tribute to her brother Stephen Leskody, said it inspires customers to create their own outdoor wonderlands on their properties.
“When you see perennials in a pot, they don’t look very impressive,” said Nancy Leskody, who owns the nursery with her partner Anne Trimble. “The garden gives people ideas. They feel it’s something they can create in their own home.”
