A Brooklyn winery is bringing its selections to Long Island Wine Country this weekend.
Roanoke Vinyards will host a “pop-up winery” featuring Brooklyn Oenology at its Love Lane tasting room this Saturday. Starting at 4 p.m. join BOE winemaker Alie Shaper for tasting flights of her wine and a smorgasbord barbecue.
Founded in 2006, BOE wines are made exclusively from grapes grown in New York and each wine label features a work by a Brooklyn-based artist.
For $30 you can try four BOE wines plus a platter of your favorite comfort food.
The pop-up winery runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9 at Roanoke Vineyards on Love Lane located at 65 Love Lane in Mattituck.
