Close enough to Greenport’s bustling downtown, but far enough away from vineyard traffic, Quintessentials Bed and Breakfast and Spa offers a peaceful and romantic hideaway from the rush of day-to-day living.
The Main Road B&B transports guests visiting this Plantation style home to a relaxing island escape. Innkeeper Sylvia Daley, a native of Jamaica, decorated the inn with colorful paintings and tropical plants, creating an island vibe for guests. Another plus, Quintessentials is the North Fork’s first and only boutique B&B with a full-service spa.
Built in the 1840s, the B&B sits at the midway point between Greenport and Orient. Guests can enjoy the fully restored architectural details such as a widow’s walk cupola and ornate gingerbread trim.
The B&B boasts five spacious and comfortable rooms. Each room offers a private bathroom, an outdoor deck, wireless internet, a fireplace, Jacuzzi tub, a flat screen TV with premium cable and a snack jar. CHECK HERE FOR RATES AND AVAILABILITY
If you like to eat, you’ll love Quintessentials.
Breakfast starts with fruit followed by your choice of pastry and a meal of three hot items. Depending on the day you can get baked frittata, scrambled eggs, or turkey bacon and sausage spiced with vegetables and herbs from Quintessentials own organic garden.
Daley’s plantains with cinnamon and homemade Jamaican hot chocolate are in demand year-round.
