Rio de Janeiro will meet the North Fork this weekend when Sparkling Pointe in Southold celebrates its fifth annual Carnaval.

Wine Country’s all-sparkling wine vineyard will celebrate the release of its Cuvée Carnaval Rosé on Saturday, July 26 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Live music will be provided by Bossa Nova Band and there will be Brazillian drummers, dancers and “samba queens.”

Tickets are $15 and include a glass of sparkling wine and a keepsake flute. Additional wine and food are sold separately. The Kitchen by Waterside Caterers, The North Fork Food Truck and Blondies Bake Shop Sweets Truck will be on hand.

All tables have been reserved already, though the festivities are still open to the public.
