Enjoy a gyro and some baklava and an afternoon on the Adirondack chairs at Hellenic Snack Bar & Restaurant in East Marion.

In this week’s edition of “What’s For Lunch?” we recommend the restaurant’s pork souvlaki. Pork, cold marinated tomatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce are served open face or wrapped in a pita ($10.95).

Table service is available indoors and out.

It’s quality Greek food served in hearty portions. Sample local wines with four mini carafes of tastes from the region’s wineries ($18) and watch the cars travel by on Route 25.

What’s for lunch? is a weekly column highlighting great mid-day meals on the North Fork. Send suggestions to [email protected].
