Looking to splurge with some fine waterside dining? Treat yourself with a meal at this downtown Greenport hot spot.
In this week’s edition of “What’s for lunch?” we recommend the crab salad sando from Blue Canoe Oyster Bar & Grill in Greenport.
Jumbo lump crab, avocado, macadamia nuts, red onion, heavy cream and mayonnaise are tossed together to create the crab salad. The spread is served on a toasted roll with arugula ($21 for sandwich, $25 with fries or cole slaw.)
The smooth avocado pairs well with the crunchy macadamia nuts and the light, yet filling crab salad is great on a hot day.
Be sure to dine outside and take in the view of Greenport Harbor.
