The view of the setting sun over Peconic Bay is worth the price of admission alone.

Shelter Island’s The Pridwin Beach Hotel & Cottages will resume its popular Wednesday night cookouts on July 2 and continue through the summer season.

For $35 guests get admission to the all-you-can-eat barbecue, which features fresh-grilled tuna as well as ribs, burgers, hot dogs, salads, and all-you-can drink draught Miller Lite.

Live music will be provided by Majik. The sunset view is gratis.

Come by car or boat, though dock space is first come first serve. Visitors are encouraged to phone ahead at 631-749-0476 since a rough headcount helps the staff know how much food to grill up each week.

A Times/Review personal favorite, the staff plans an outing to the mid-week barbecue at least once a summer.

See you there!
