Hey you, sitting there staring at whatever it is you whipped up using last night’s leftovers. It’s ok to get a little bit “crazy” and grab something on the go.

In this week’s edition of “What’s For Lunch,” Northforker suggests fish tacos ($9.95) from The Crazy Fork Restaurant in Mattituck.

Chef David Distenfeld serves up two tacos made of flash fried flounder topped with a freshly made pineapple-mango salsa of red peppers, onions, cilantro, and scallions all served on flour tortillas.

Tacos are dressed with a mild to medium heat spicy mayo and served with sliced lime for optional added taste.

Pro tip: Tacos can also be made using shrimp — just ask!

Crazy Fork Restaurant is located at 10560 Main Road in Mattituck. Contact them at (631) 298-1100.

What’s for a lunch is a weekly northforker.com column highlighting delicious mid-day meals on the North Fork. Suggestions can be sent to [email protected].
