Enormous blue waves crashing off the East Coast meet the lurid desert landscapes of western America at the Alex Ferrone Photography Gallery and Studio’s exhibit “Swells and Swirls” this month.

Check out these beautiful vortexes of color at the Cutchogue gallery during the exhibit which runs June 14 through July 20 and features Long Island-based photographers Matt Clark and Mike DiRenzo as well as Ferrone.

Clark, a Queens native and surfer, currently shoots for Isurus Wetsuits, Air Hubb Swimfins, and is a staff photographer for ThunderBomb Surf Camp in Nicaragua. DiRenzo is the current president of The Photographic Federation of Long Island

An artist’s reception will be held Saturday, June 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ralphael Wines in Peconic.

Clark and DiRenzo will be at the gallery on Sunday, July 13 at 2 p.m. to talk about their work.

The exhibit and talk are sponsored by Abatelli Realty and Appraisal Services.
